AS T-03 and AS T-04 pyrometric sensors are intended for safe contactless one-point measurement of temperature of components which are either hard to reach or moving at a safe distance, e.g. switchgear contacts. They are attached to the switchgear enclosure and pointed at the object for which the temperature is to be measured. The values measured are transmitted via CAT 4 twisted pair cable.
The AS T-03 sensor has a very small ‘field of vision’ (FOV ±5˚), and therefore it is better suited for measuring the temperature of a single object or a group of objects at a greater distance.
AS T-04 has twice the ‘field of vision’, and therefore it can be used for measuring the temperature of large objects or a group of objects at smaller distance.
