Product Offerings

The Łukasiewicz-Tele and Radio Research Institute is a recognized leader in the energy sector, offering products and services that not only meet but often exceed market expectations. Our solutions, dedicated to the professional and industrial energy sectors as well as mining, are highly regarded due to our long-standing commitment to innovation, safety, and reliability. This consistency in striving for excellence translates into trust and recognition of our Institute as a valuable and trusted partner in the energy industry worldwide.

Our reputation is documented by our decades-long presence in both domestic and international markets, which began in 1993 with the introduction of our first microprocessor-based bay controller, MUPASZ, implemented in medium-voltage switchgear. Since then, we have continuously supported our customers by providing solutions that stem from our rich experience and ongoing research in the energy field.

Bay Controllers
Bay Controllers

We invite you to explore our range of medium and low-voltage bay controllers, which offer various levels of functionality tailored to the specific needs of power facilities.

Our controllers perform essential protection, station automation, control, measurement, and disturbance/event recording functions. Additionally, they can connect to SCADA systems using various transmission protocols.

Switchgear Controllers
Switchgear Controllers

The SEM SC11 controller, along with the SEM SB11 expansion module, PAN1 panel, and SPS 24-1 power switch, forms a comprehensive system for operating switching devices such as circuit breakers, contactors, disconnectors, and grounding switches.

Current Transformers
Current Transformers

Low-power current transformers, CR/CRR, are used for measuring currents in low and medium-voltage networks. The transformers developed by Łukasiewicz-ITR are manufactured using PCB (Printed Circuit Board) technology, which provides a constant and repeatable conversion ratio (sensitivity) over a wide range of measured currents.

Voltage Transformers
Voltage Transformers

Low-power voltage transformers, UR, are used for measuring voltages in medium-voltage networks. These transformers are designed as highly stable resistive dividers with a linear characteristic, in compliance with the PE-EN 61869-6:2017-03 standard. As a result, they achieve a high level of measurement accuracy and thermal stability across a wide range of operating temperatures. They are intended for use with cable head manufacturers and surge arrester companies such as Cellpack, Nexans, and Rychem.

During the ENERGETAB 2019 trade fair, the low-power voltage transformer UR56, manufactured by our Institute, was recognized by the trade fair's competition committee and awarded the Silver Medal.

Autonomous Protection
Autonomous Protection

The autonomous short-circuit protection AZZ 4.xx is designed to protect medium-voltage lines from the effects of short circuits and overloads. The device is characterized by low power consumption and is powered by operating current from current transformers. It works in conjunction with a low-energy coil trip breaker.

Voltage Presence Indicators
Voltage Presence Indicators

These are intended for continuous indication of voltage presence on switchgear busbars. Voltage presence is signaled separately for each monitored phase. The voltage indicator is connected to the busbars using reactance insulators. Voltage indicators are equipped with a TEST button, used to activate the Device Operation Control mechanism.
