SEM SC11

SEM SCxx is designed to monitor and control switchgear of different types, e.g.: circuit breakers, contactors, disconnectors and earthing switches. The module is equipped with reinforced relay and solid-state binary outputs for direct control of switches with a load capacity of 15 A and relay and solid state binary outputs with variable polarisation with a load capacity of 16 A. The module can operate on its own or with controllers for telemechanics, to create scalable power facility management systems. The module communicates with the environment (master systems, software tool, HMI panels) via RS 485 connections. Its compatibility with the ELF application means the behaviour of the module can be programmed, including:

monitoring and alarm reporting mode for monitoring the status of the switchgear;
a method for changing the control procedure: None, Local or Remote;
a control cycle of Close and Open, taking into account the control mode;
a mechanism for remote and local release of the switch, should it become blocked in the transition state (switchgear interlocking) after control cycle failure;
forced test operation.

SEM SCxx is compatible with removable HMI panels of types PAN 1. They can be used to perform connection operations, change the control mode, change parameters and module operation mode.

PAN1 is the smallest, ultra-thin, ultra-light HMI panel with a high degree of protection from the side of the front plate (IP68). It is designed for interaction with Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED), which interact with power MV and LV switchgears or with electrical devices which require visualisation or control.
